4th Annual North County St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival – Dig through your closet and throw on all of your favorite green attire – it’s time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Day trip to Ramona Valley Wine Country – Did you know that Ramona has received it’s own designation as a wine region? The Ramona Valley AVA is growing in popularity with 24 vineyards to visit. Take a Sunday drive out on East Hwy 78 towards San Pasqual Valley, plan a day of touring a couple vineyard tasting rooms while soaking in the valley views. Most tasting rooms are open on the weekend. The Vintage Marketplace in Rainbow. Friday March 10th and Saturday March 11th from 9-3pm the “Vintage Blooms” event celebrates Spring! 70 plus vendors with Vintage, Antiques and Handmade, plus food, bake goods. Hops in the Hills – First ever beer event in San Elijo Hills, “Hops In The Hills” Beer Festival in San Marcos! All proceeds will be donated to the San Elijo Elementary and Double Peak Schools. There will be IPAs and other hop-forward beers to taste; amazing food, and music playing all afternoon. Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 1-4 p.m. 20+ Local breweries.
