Cruise on over to see the Tecolote Gian Ranunculus, on of the finest strains of ranunculus plants in the world. Enjoy the breathtaking views and beautiful colors from now through May 10th. Explore a little history at the Warner-Carrillo Ranch House. Built in 1857 by a woman rancher, this adobe served as the Butterfield Stage Stop from 1858 until the beginning of Civil War in 1861! Open Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm.

Embark on a beautiful trail in Lake Poway that will have you charging hills, descending into canyons and eager to see what the next switchback has to offer! Dig through your closet and throw on all of your favorite green attire – it’s time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Don’t miss the 4th Annual North County St. Patricks Day Parade and Festival in Vista’s historic downtown on Sunday, March 15th. The celebration kicks off with a VIP breakfast at the Vista Village Pub filled with Irish favorites like corned beef hash and Irish coffees. The parade runs from 11am-12pm and is followed by live entertainment from 12-4pm. A full day of festivities!
Expo Day at the San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering is tomorrow at PETCO Park! The mission of this event is to engage and encourage kid’s to become tomorrow’s science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) innovators. With over 130 local businesses giving hands-on activities, this is certainly an event to not miss!

Root for your home team on March 1st as the Padres take on the Chicago White Sox! For all you North County San Diego folks, don’t forget to take advantage of the Coaster for all of Padre’s home games and enjoy a little train ride along the coastline.
Have you seen the new Encinitas Community Park? It. Is. Gorgeous. This new and massive park has it all. The park includes paved walking paths and bench areas, two restroom buildings, a 13,000 square feet skate park, a 2-acre dog park, soccer field, multi-use fields including baseball and softball, and plenty of open turf areas. And did we say it’s gorgeous? The park is surrounded by a meandering dry creek with boulders and dense landscaping.
