California Center for the Arts in Escondido is hosting “Cine en el parque” featuring the movie Rio at 7pm. This event features Spanish language films with English subtitles. Free for all ages http://www.artcenter.org/performances/

San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas is hosting ‘Bromeliad Bash” from 9am-5pm (this event will continue on to Sunday 9/2). Bromeliads are the best plants to grow in Southern California. Camp Pendleton Marines will fly 1,000 American Flags along interstate 5 freeway just outside the fence line of Camp Pendleton. This is a sight you don’t want to miss!
