Union Kitchen & Tap is neighborhood tavern serves up tasty treats or as they suggest “New American food”. The wicked selection of local craft beers will left me staring at the menu for a good 10 minutes, a sign of a true beer bar.
If wine or cocktails are your thing, you’ve come to the right place. Offering small vintage wines and handcrafted cocktails, the martinis looked incredible. The menu is simple but distinct. You can’t go wrong with the Flatbreads like Prosciutto or Bacon & Tomato. I did not have dinner during my visit but with dinner entrée selections like Braised Pork Belly and Sweet Potato Ravioli, you’ll surely enjoy the food.
There isn’t a ton of parking so keep in mind that walking to the restaurant once you’ve found a spot is evitable. The atmosphere is very Americana with an industrial flare. Make sure to look around at the décor; the chandeliers stood out to me & of course the huge patio which last I heard has not been opened yet due to ABC/licensing issues.
If you’re like me & like a good happy hour, check out their Social Hour (weekdays from 4-6pm). A decent selection of reasonably priced drinks & food.
