Stone 22nd Anniversary Celebration and Invitational Beer Festival
Our local North County brewery is celebrating 22 years in business! Two decades of brewing craft beer here in San Diego and a proper way to celebrate this milestone is a host a huge festival! Friday night kicks off the Brewer’s Reception with a special selection of beers, gourmet fare and live music. Saturday is where over 60 breweries will pour 150+ beers. Summer Food Truck Festival
Do you love food trucks? If you do, head on over to Bates Nut Farm on Saturday, August 18th for the annual Summer Food Truck Festival featuring a lineup including Organic Truck, Epic Eatz, Mariposa Ice Cream Truck & more! The festival runs from 4 – 8pm, free admission, pony rides, petting corral and beer/wine garden. Good times for the whole family!
Cardiff Dog Days of Summer
The largest dog-centric event in San Diego is just around the corner! Dog Days of Summer is a celebration of “man’s best friend” in Cardiff-by-the-Sea on Sunday, August 12th from 11-6pm. Bring your dog to enjoy dog contests including Cutest Puppy, Dog/Owner Look-A Like, Best Looking Big + Small Dog. Art in the Village

Head on over to Carlsbad on Sunday August 12th for the 19th Annual Art in the Village event bringing over 100 local and regional artists for a one-day, open air event starting at 9 am. Fine artists display a variety of mediums including oil paintings, watercolors, photography, mixed media, as well as classic and contemporary sculpture. Leucadia Art Walk Oh
Don’t miss the 14th Annual Leucadia Art Walk happening on Sunday, August 26 from 10am-5pm! Local juried artists will be flooding the Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia displaying original art with open house hours at all local Leucadia Art Galleries. Enjoy a free ride in a double decker bus to shuttle you to and from designated parking. Hiking Iron Mountain Trail
Looking to polish off your summer with a little adventure! Take a hike and explore Iron Mountain Trail in Poway. This 5.8 mile trek has a difficulty level of moderate to difficult, but with its boulder-lined trail, makes it manageable for most hiking levels. While it starts off rather flat, you’ll be doing switchbacks and taking in breathtaking vistas in no time. Don’t forget water and sunscreen!
