I was working at Stone Brewing at the time & was about to head to the office.
For some reason, I had the TV on while I was getting ready when the news broke.
A plane had hit the World Trade Center. Of course, most of America thought this was an accident until another plane crashed into the second tower.
Utter disbelief & heart ache. How could? Why would? OMG! Are the things that came to my mind. Our Nation, attacked!
I couldn’t begin to imagine how the people of New York felt, let alone the poor souls in those buildings. May they forever rest in peace.
Today, 9/11, is a day that we, Americans, must never forget.
Never forget the traedgy of the fallen.
Never forget our freedom.
Never forget our bravery.
I’m proud to be an American…& will never forget!
As a tribute, at dusk on 9/11/11 light 3 candles outside in front of your house in memory of all those that we lost 10 years ago. A red candle for fire/ems, blue for police/military and white for all the civilians that died that day.
