The market tends to slow down in the winter months and the latest update for December 2016 proves to the trend by an average day on market of 50 days. The number of homes sold slowed down from 888 in October to 804 in December, again pretty common. The median price sold did go down from $650,000 to $630,000. With interest rates rising, we did see home prices adjust to accommodate the higher rates. However, year over year from 2015 to 2016 the appreciation was a healthy and stable 5.8%.
