So much going on this weekend!
San Elijo Hills Town Square, in San Marcos, is hosting a fun filled event that you won’t want to miss. Head on out for some great music, food trucks and family fun from 3-6pm.
Escondido will be showing “The Adventures of TinTin” under the stars at Grape Day Park starting at 7pm. This is a free event!
Cardiff by the Sea is hosting its 7th annual Dog Days of Summer from 10am-3pm. Enjoy contests, music, food and even a doggie beach! This is a fun filled free event!
Oceanside is hosting the 28th annual Longboard Surf Contest and Beach Festival at Oceanside Pier from 6am to 9pm. Watch some surfing, eat some good food and check out all the various vendors.
Escondido‘s California Center for the Arts presents North San Diego County Antique and Collectible Show from 9am-3pm. This is a one stop shop for those hard to find items. Admission is free and you can get your items appraised for $5 a piece (limit 3 items).
Carlsbad is hosting its 14th annual Art in the Village from 9am-5pm. Come and check out the works of painters, photographers, mixed media artists, glass blowers, jewelers and sculptors as well as art demonstrations, classes, live music and food.
Poway is featuring “The Pomerado Community Band” in the Summer Concert Series from 530-7pm at Lake Poway. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes as the Big Band sound will be in full effect! This is a free event.
Oceanside Museum of Art is presenting the Facing West/Looking East exhibit preview reception from 5-7pm. There are 20 featured artists who reach across the Pacific -to East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia for their content and commentary. This reception is free for OMA members and $10 for non-members and includes an open beer and wine bar and creative appetizers by OMA’s Culinary Arts Committee.
