Showings and Open Houses
Now that your property is on the market, you want to entertain as many potential buyers as possible. To do this effectively, your home needs to be available for showings with reasonable notice. Available means spotless! We know the showing phase can become a bit tedious, but it is well worth the effort. You would be shocked to hear what folks say about your home when it isn’t tidy… While buyer’s agents try to help their clients look past pet toys or some dirty dishes, sometimes that isn’t enough. Buyer objections can range from mundane to asinine, lets not add fuel to that fire. Pets can be accommodated with a little extra effort.
Open houses can help exposure as well. One in recent memory generated over 50 people and multiple offers for our clients. Sometimes buyers have a tough time coordinating work schedules to view during the week, and appreciate a time frame to view. Other times a family member will be looking to help a parent/child looking in an area.
The bottom line is if buyers can’t view your home, they will lose interest quickly.
